Here is how to make pasta salad:


  • 1 pound dry pasta (your choice)
  • 2 cups chopped vegetables (your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked protein (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (lemon, balsamic, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (Italian seasoning, basil, or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
